Hi, I’m Melinda, the artist behind Mel FX & Beauty. I’m a licensed esthetician, professional makeup artist, and certified lash extension artist with a passion for creativity, transformation, and bringing ideas to life.

My love for makeup goes beyond traditional beauty. While I enjoy helping clients feel confident through beauty makeup, skincare, and lash services, I’ve always been especially drawn to the creativity behind special effects makeup. I love how makeup can completely transform someone into a character, creature, or something straight out of a horror movie. From realistic wounds, bruising, and gore to fantasy looks and full character transformations, I enjoy challenging myself, experimenting with new techniques, and continuing to grow as an artist.

My ultimate goal is to work as a professional SFX makeup artist in the film and entertainment industry. Mel FX & Beauty represents every side of my artistry—from beauty and lashes to bold, creative special effects. Every look I create is an opportunity to tell a story, push my creativity, and continue building the career I’ve always imagined for myself.
